|    Mark William Steckel's Boeing P-26A Peashooter is now available for download. This historical fighter, being the first American all-metal monoplane pursuit craft, was untra-modern when it was first placed in service in the early 1930s. The Peashooter, so named because of its long tubular gunsight, is very detailed and will delight any and all that download it. Also new are several CFS2 Missions my Taezr. Be sure to check these out in the Missions page. 13 December, 2001
|    New planes, new planes! We have another Messerschmitt, a Bf109D3 by Corrada la Posta. I must say that this fighter is so wonderfully detailed I cannot do it justice with words. One look at it and you will see what I mean about details. Also new is Piglet's beautiful H6K5 Mavis. The virtual cockpit is incredible. Read the review here. November 24, 2001.
|    Do you like screenshots, of CFS2 or CFS1? Then The CFS Screenshots Page is the place to go. Examine beautiful works of Print Screen art, from peaceful sunset shots to jaw-dropping aerial dogfighting images, and then upload your own. To the best of my knowledge the CFS Screenshots Page is (or is going to be) the largest collection of CFS/CFS2 screenshots on the Web. 23 November, 2001
|    Our latest addition to the CFS2 Aircraft addon section is a Bf109 G-6/AS, a later version of the famous and respected German fighter. It was created by P. Rebuffat and D. Swart, and I found this Bf190G to be strikingly well done in every perspective; a very high quality freeware aircraft. Also, check out our new Reviews Page for a better description and more images of certain aircraft offered on this site. November 9, 2001
|    Two new breathtaking CFS2 addons arrived today, the first being the Dewoitine D-510 French 1930's monoplane fighter by C. M. Carlson. The detail, especially of the nose and engine, is stunning. Notably, the D-510 was the first fighter to mount a cannon firing through the propeller hub. Also available is Michael Gurezka's Heinkel He219a5 German night fighter of late World War Two; highly detailed and accurately portrayed. Both aircraft are highly recommended. November 1, 2001.

|    The latest Aircraft Addons for CFS2 Addon HQ are two very nice aircraft by Stuart Green. The first is his Airco DH2, a World War One "pusher" fighter (pictured) that is incredibly detailed and fun to fly. Also available is Mr. Green's Arado Ar196 German float plane, packed with details and including a scenery package for any CFS2 floatplanes. Both aircrafts and the scenery are highly recommended! |    More CFS2 aircraft addons have arrived! Mr Westfall has most generously allowed us to offer his superb Curtiss P-6E Hawk fighter for download. CFS2 is rather lacking in quality 1920's and 1930's aircraft, but the P-6 is a major exception and will delight anyone with even the slightest interest in pre-1939 aviation. The virtual cockpit is exceptionally well done, and the Hawk is a joy to fly. Enjoy this rare addon from the Golden Era of aviation. October 25, 2001

Several new addon aircraft are now available for download. The A7M2 'Reppu' (pictured to the right) is the latest work of excellence by Robin and Andrew Wai. From folding wings, working strobe lights, sliding canopy, and rolling wheels, this superb Japanese fighter will not cease to delight. Also new is William Steckel's breathtaking Fokker D.VI German WW1 biplane fighter which has an actual spinning rotary engine, among many other details. Many more new addons can be found on the New Addons page. October 4, 2001. |

|    Corrado La Posta's superb Fiat C.R.32 is now available for download in Aircraft Addon Section 4. It is highly detailed; fuselage and engine panels open up for maintainence, excellent flight model, with four aircraft textures included depicting four C.R.32's operating in various theatres during the Second World War. Manoeuvrability is superb, and it presents a tough challenge even to the A6M Zero. Also available is a PT17 "Stearman" panel available in the "Panels" section. October 1, 2001.
|    Aircraft Addon Section No. 4 is now open with new CFS2 addons. Most notable is Robin and Andrew Wai's long awaited Nakajima Ki.84 Hayate fighter (pictured). Other addons include a Northrop P-61 Black Widow and a superb Petlyakov Pe-2 medium Russian bomber. Many more new addons are going through the process of being tested, etc, and will be available shortly. September 27, 2001.
|    The Fairey Swordfish Mk.II by Trek & Tiger has been announced that it is ready for release. This venerable old biplane torpedo bomber was designed far before World War Two began and proved so wonderfully effective that it lasted longer on the front lines as a combat aircraft than more modern aircrafts designed to replace it. The Swordfish, called the "Stringbag" was finally retired in 1946. You can view some large screenshots of the CFS2 Swordfish which should be available for download at any time. September 27, 2001.
|    Welcome back. We've been busy here attending to endless website problems, etc, but fortunately we've managed to return to a somewhat operational status. Addon Sections 3 and 4 were hit the hardest by website errors, and they happened to hold the newest addons we have. Sections 3 and 4 have been restored, but most of the aircraft downloads are not operable. Also, many links are down. These errors should be remedied within the week, and new addons will be arriving almost immediately afterwards. Thanks for your patience as we repair the errors and return the website to normal operation, September 24, 2001.
There is a new "Troubleshooting" page which has several answers to prominent questions regarding CFS2, addons, installation, etc. See it here
